How to put a straw in a cup

By Cole

First you get your beautiful mama to give you a straw and cup

Then you raise your straw holding hand in the air like this.

While keeping intense focus, you lower the straw towards the cup...

And then poke the camera with the straw just to make sure your mama is awake!  Wake up woman and put this straw in because I'm thirsty!

Edible bread

I successfully made jalepeno cheese bread, with Russell and my dad being the judges!  There weren't chunks of cheese throughout like I would have liked but it had a nice texture and yummy flavor.  I think next time I will try to make it by hand (vs. the breadmaker) to try to help the cheese chunks survive.  It sure made for some tasty sandwiches though!

Snow

Yes, I know the snow was like 2 weeks ago but better late than never, right?  In fact, I'm doing several posts after downloading several pictures I took earlier this month and forgot about!  We enjoyed the snow in 10 minute increments because it was too darn cold to stay outside for much longer than that!  Cole liked stomping in the snow but was not real excited about touching it...maybe next year.

All business by Cole

It's a hard job running a toddler business, but someone has to do it.  How do I spend my days, you ask?

I check for updates on the computer.  The newest Wheels on the Bus song on YouTube is of utmost concern.

I have to ponder the problems of the universe with my adorable prayer hands and camo pants.

Examing paperwork to make sure Mom is balancing the budget correctly.  You know, that woman is a little loopy so no telling what she is doing with those numbers!

Speaking of crazy, woman get that camera out of my face!  I'm trying to work here!

Just kidding!  You know I love you!

My Grandpa

I have tried to write this all week and have struggled with what to say...I know, me not being talkative is shocking.  My grandpa passed away last Friday with my grandma and his children by his side.  There are so many wonderful memories with my grandpa but my favorites include his laugh, cheese eggs and waffles for breakfast, swimming, going on early morning walks (which I had to run to keep up with his fast stride), an endless supply of Blue Bell, playing games at Chuck E. Cheese, him playing handheld games on a bench in the mall while me and grandma shopped, playing Star Trek music to wake us up in the morning, tasty ribs that he would grill all day, and going for DQ blizzards.  We love you and miss you grandpa!
